A Night to Remember

What a fantastic evening! On Thursday 12th February, the JLN team attended the West Midlands Regional Energy Efficiency Awards at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham Airport, and we're absolutely thrilled to announce we brought home not one, but two prestigious awards.

We were recognised in two categories:

• New Build or Renovation Project of the Year - Highly Commended
• Renewable Heat Installer and Contractor of the Year - Commended

These accolades represent the culmination of years of dedication to excellence in renewable heating installations and our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional results for every customer.

Recognition That Matters

The Energy Efficiency Awards, now in their 12th year, celebrate organisations and individuals who are driving real change in the energy efficiency sector. Awards Chairman Gary Braybrooke spoke about the significance of these awards: "The organisations and individuals recognised through these awards are operating in a period of real uncertainty in the sector. Despite that, they continue to deliver, to innovate and to hold standards high. That matters."

His words resonated deeply with us. The renewable heating industry is evolving rapidly, with changing regulations, advancing technology, and shifting customer expectations. Yet throughout these changes, we've remained focused on what truly counts: practical delivery, collaboration, and professionalism.

What These Awards Mean

Renewable Heat Installer and Contractor of the Year - Commended

This award recognises excellence in the installation, implementation, and maintenance of energy-efficient heating systems that qualify for the government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme. The judges looked for companies demonstrating exceptional customer service, high-quality workmanship, and best practices within their local community.

Our Heat Geek certification, Vaillant Advance Heat Pump installer status, and Unico System Specialist Partner accreditation have positioned us to deliver installations that consistently exceed industry standards. From achieving impressive COPs of 4.4 and higher to providing comprehensive customer support throughout every project, we're proud that our approach has earned this recognition.

New Build or Renovation Project of the Year - Highly Commended

This category celebrates projects that demonstrate significant value and benefits from energy efficiency measures. Judges considered the nature, scale, and scope of work, the successful integration of government energy efficiency schemes, community impact, customer testimonials, and the expertise of the project delivery team.

Being Highly Commended in this category reflects our ability to deliver complex, innovative projects that make a real difference to our customers' homes and lives. Whether it's integrating Unico System installations with Vaillant heat pumps or designing bespoke solutions for challenging properties, we approach every project with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Looking Forward To The Future

These awards aren't just trophies on a shelf - they're a reminder of why we do what we do. Event organiser Kenneth Campbell noted that award recipients have "delivered commitment to improving energy efficiency and carbon savings, and their hard work in reinforcing the standards the sector will need as delivery scales up is recognised."

As the renewable heating sector continues to grow, we're committed to remaining at the forefront of innovation, training, and customer service. Every member of our team - from engineers in the field to our office staff coordinating installations - played a part in achieving this recognition.
